BioGraduated in '05 from Goucher College outside Baltimore with a BA in Political Science. I'm going to Temple grad school for occupational therapy. I'm in my second year now and am almost done with my classes. The program went by fast, like college, and other things...I have an apartment in Philadelphia enjoying the city though there is a lot more I'd like to check out while I'm here.
I am still thinking I would like to work with people with spinal cord injury and veterans, and now I'm thinking that psych/mental health sounds interesting. It will be good to have some kind of experience with these or other populations during my education to see if I like it or not. I'm thinking of moving somewhere else after I graduate too, I do like DC and Boston, or maybe somewhere else on the east coast. I'll see what I want to do and how the job search goes. Hard to believe I'm almost done with grad school and will be a young professional soon.
Many interests, I'll try to list most if not all of them, so check those out. I'd like to get to more events in the city, and check out the restaurants in the area, and museums...I enjoy music and movies, sporting events, I got into the Phillies and baseball during their World Series run last year (2008) and was into it this year. Before that, I never followed or got into baseball, but now I'm familiar with the team and more of the game. I'd like to go to games next year if I can. I'd like to run the Broad St Run and possibly other races here, especially while I'm living in the city. I may want to stay around here for a little while after I graduate, then figure out where I'd like to move.
